WOW I read all the 5 star reviews and thought I really need to give this place a go. It’s inside the food court and is only a small place but looks are deceiving it was all fantastic. Honestly equal best squid I have ever had (and so thick compared to usual squid A+) Parmi was so wholesome , crunchy outside lovely cheese on top and a piece of quality ham under the cheese to top it off . Friendly fella serving us and for 23 bucks per dish is great bang for ya buck. Don’t be scared to drive away from the Busselton foreshore and rip off prices to try this hidden gem of a place . Highly recommended . Left feeling like I got a great deal and was satisfied with all the food (which is rare these days). Well done please keep up this quality even if u need to slightly raise prices in future it’s better to have epic food that’s worth the money 🙂 All the best 🙂 wish u were in Perth 🙂
Visited Onya Pub Classic two days in a row, and tried their salt and pepper squid, signature steak sandwich, rib, and fish & chips. The meat in every dish was tender, especially the rib, which practically fell off the bone with just a touch of the knife. The steak sandwich was also delicious. The bread was crispy, and the harmony with other ingredients was excellent. Their deep-frying is excellent, and I was very satisfied with the chips and battered fish. The squid was also very tender, though I think it could have been a bit crispier. Overall, I appreciated that the dishes weren’t overly salty or heavily seasoned
Had the pleasure of trying the Signature Steak Sandwich on a gluten free bun today. Coming soon to the regular menu. Absolutely delicious. Steak cooked perfectly, bursting with flavour and a light fluffy bun that held together. What a treat! Fryer is not dedicated gluten free so chips aren’t an option but those ok with potential cross contamination can opt for sweet potato fries if they’re on the specials menu. Owner was lovely and very accommodating. Recommend ++
Just had the signature steak sandwich from Onya Pub classics. It was exceptional, steak was cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth. Great flavours with the Brie cheese and fig jam. Burgers coming out looked amazing too! I’ll be back to try them next.
Absolutely AMAZING food genuinely changed my mood for the better. Squid was $24 for an amazing portion with chips that were seasoned just right, all made fresh. Pork bites were $18 and were sooooooooo ethereal. Made me lift into another dimension. Best thing I’ve ever tasted. Thank you so much 😋❤️❤️
Well I have had steak sandwich from different places all over Australia.The signature Steak Sandwich was amazing it melts in your mouth while you eat it not a single piece of fat or gristle, the combination of flavours is superb it is so satisfying but it teases you at the end to want more.Hands down you guys are by far the Undisputed Champions. Onya Pub Classics have definitely mastered the steak sandwich. If you haven’t had one then you haven’t lived.
The classic steak sandwich was delicious, the meat was tender and the sauce made everything juicy and come together. The bun was too doughy for me, but maybe if a different bun was used, this would’ve been a 5/5.
Also ordered the fish and chips and the barramundi was nice and tender. The chips and tartare sauce were flavoursome and perfect!
