We were really disappointed by the amount of chips we received in a value deal. With 4 pieces of fish there was definitely not enough chips to go around. After a phone call, explaining we were very disappointed about what we had received, they did nothing and said they have reduced the amount of chips they give because the chips cost more!!! Will not be recommending the glades fish and chips to anyone and definitely won’t be ordering from there again!!!
We should have got pizzas… at least it would have fed the whole family

Recently moved to Byford from New Zealand & was really hungry for fish and chips. This place did not disappoint very good. 👌
Quality seems to drop with the price increases. After 8 years of going to this take away shop in Byford, I have had enough of decreased quality and size of each dish.
I just want to give a big shoutout to Jayden, the young boy (may be the youngest crew) who works at Glades Fish and Chips. He’s incredibly hardworking, always friendly, and handles busy hours like a pro! It’s amazing how he stays active and still takes time to engage with customers. Jayden is the kind of employee every shop should have, a real asset to the team!
Girls are rude,
Always have to ask for chips to be wrapped separately due to them not giving what we paid for,
Yesterday they didn’t do that I ordered $12 worth of chips and only got maybe $6 if that. I will not be returning, very disappointed!
Buzzer I was given didnt work so my order sat under the warmer for however long. Heaven knows why the counter staff can’t call out the order for those who walk into the shop, order there and wait rather than ordering online.
The chips are OK, although trying to work out portion sizes from tuppawear is ridiculous. The Chicko Roll was battered within an inch of its life (delicious). We also got a Chicken Souvlaki, and I honestly wish I’d gone to Kebabland instead. The thing was small, the chicken was dryer than the sahara, the lettuce wet and kinda gross, and the wrap was hard at the edges. Could be because it sat under the warmer, maybe its always that way, I won’t be trying it again though.
Im giving 3 stars simply because of the chips & Chicko Roll, although if you messed up those you’re in the wrong business.
These kids should not be running the shop. They don’t know how to handle customers, lacks respect and are just tripping. I find it rude especially that they are in the frontline of the business. The management needs to resolve this issue. As I have read from the previous reviews, we are not the only ones who has experienced this kind of service.
