Fantastic food and very friendly service.
Had my order ready when I was coming off work so it made my day. And a little service with a complimentary crab stick.

The fish and chip is indeed nice. It’s doesn’t feel greasy yet it’s crispy ! Owner was very generous to throw in complimentary crab roll. The fish taste fresh and yummy ! Will definitely be back again ! Owner is also very kid oriented , still got a play area to keep the little one occupied while waiting.
Overall, very good. The fish while lightly battered was a little greasy, as was the dim sim & potato scallops. Maybe as a result of not being drained well. Generous sized fillets. The Snapper was a good size, as was the Basa(2). Can I suggest Hake as the everyday fish. Included crab stick & small lollie as a bonus.

It’s probably the best fish and chips shop in Perth or 2nd to none as in the past used to be a few good shops around but they’ve either sold on or managed very poorly now that’s just not worth going to anymore. South of the river it is hands down the best so you can always trust that is quality fish and chip shop that is family owned and operated business. I was reluctant to review before because it was my little hidden gem but it be a shame not to share it with the people of Perth so they get to taste real fish and chips.
Portion size was a bit small. Barely any chips, my 20 month old could eat them all by himself. Fish was a bit greasy. On the other hand the curry sauce was the best one we’ve had around. I’ve mainly marked down because of portion size. Food overall is decent.
I dont have fish and chips often as I see it as just a treat but I love this place and I have never been disappointed. I always seem to get a little treat with my order and tonight was no different. A very tasty potato cake which I will probably include with my next order. Great fish and chips, good portion size and great value.
Went to Batter Fish and Chips and honestly it was one of those places that just makes your whole day better. The fish was so fresh and crispy, the chips were perfect, and everything tasted like proper old-school fish and chips done right.
What really got me, though, was the kindness. They randomly gave us extra potato scallops, and it was such a small thing but it genuinely made our night. You can tell the people there actually care about their customers and take pride in what they do.
Places like this are rare now. Great food, generous portions, and genuinely lovely people behind the counter. Thank you for the extra scallops and for making us leave with big smiles. We’ll definitely be back.
