The freshest red emporor snapper and my fish and chips arrived so hot, crispy and most importantly NON GREASY! Win win! Who knew fish and chips could be so good! This was by far the best Ive ever had. Thanks cockburn fish n chips!
Stunning fish and chips store, hands down. Everytime I eat my meal, Im never disappointed. Prices are realistically reasonable with a remarkable service. Big props to those lads.
We ordered fish and chips for two people, with the fish being Red Spot Emperor. Paid $38 for 3 tiny pieces of fish which were strong flavoured and rubbery. It wasn’t pleasant, wasn’t delicate flavour, wasn’t flaky. Overpriced and disappointing. We bought the same fish about 6 weeks ago from a different fish and chip store… and the portions were triple the size and tasted incredible.
Clean & fresh tasting fish & chips. Its obvious the oil is changed frequently. Not to mention value for money. For a meal for 1 under $20 I struggle to finish all. I’m left full & satisfied.
Think there’s a change in owner/management recently, however quality of food and service is still there. Usually would have the fish & chips and meal for one, don’t disappoint.

Clean place, nice service, amazing fish and chips at a good price. I forgot to take a picture but trust me when I say that it really does stay good even after a few hours. It’s difficult to find good quality fish and chips at the price this place is selling them for. Highly recommend and would probably order again.
It was awful very greasy incorrect order I specifically asked for extra crunchie chips and chips were soggy couldn’t eat it as it was so greasy/oily very disappointed and expensive as had to throw it all out we couldn’t eat it
Extremely disappointed with our meal tonight. Everything was incredibly greasy, to the point where it was repulsive and very hard to finish. The batter wasn’t light, it just felt like a thick heavy coating of flour that had soaked up all the oil. We were really looking forward to a good local meal, but this was a massive letdown.
