About
Santorini Fish and Chips has built a solid reputation in Forrestfield, with a well-rated following among locals who keep coming back for fresh, generously portioned fish and well-seasoned chips. The batter is consistently described as golden and crunchy, and the chips carry real flavour. Pricing is reasonable, which makes it an easy choice for families and weeknight dinners alike.
The menu goes well beyond the basics. Grilled options sit alongside the classic battered and crumbed fish, with NZ hoki and barramundi both appearing regularly. The fisherman’s basket is a popular pick for the kids, while sides and desserts draw plenty of interest too. Pineapple packed separately in the takeaway order is a small touch that regulars appreciate. The shop is family-friendly with a kids’ menu, and dine-in seating is available for those who prefer to eat in.
Delivery runs in the early evening, with pickup available from late afternoon through to 8:00 PM. The venue is wheelchair accessible, has free on-site parking, and the staff are regularly noted for being friendly and attentive. Under new ownership, the shop has maintained strong momentum and continues to attract first-timers who quickly make it a regular stop.
For anyone searching for fish and chips in Forrestfield or the surrounding area, Santorini is worth putting on the shortlist. Phone ahead during the dinner rush to avoid a wait.

Shop has new owners. Food is great, service is good. Love the seating! One of those with a pretty wide menu. Everything is packed nicely, chips, seafood and pineapple are packed separately. My daughter loves the pineapple, and I love the calamari!
Surprised found on the way home from our hiking… One of the best Fish & Chips in town. We got the Basket for our kids and the healthier options “grilled” for us. Both options were great, very tasty and of course nothing left 😀! It was busy Saturday night but service was quick. There are plenty of tables under gazebo- a bonus for eat in or perhaps resting whilst waiting for food. 5 ⭐️
This shop serves the most premium fish in the area (NZ hoki by default). Batter? Absolutely unbeatable. Staff? Always friendly and polite.
I’m not a huge fan of fish, but I keep coming back. Esp for the sides and desserts! Oysters, scallops, crab sticks, calamari, onion rings, potato scallops, vegetarian fish, pineapple fritters loaded with cinnamon sugar… You name it. The list is much longer. Basically, heaven on a plate. 😋
Check out their spice bar packed with “exotic” vinegars and salts you could dream of, feel like a wizard picking magic potions for your FnC 😎.
Finally, grab a spot on the patio, either facing the shop for a bit of fun TV action, or watching the world go by with people and cars passing, while savoring every bite.
It’s not just a meal, it’s a full-on experience for me. You’ll be hooked! 🐟✨💥
This will be our new go to fish n chips shop. The food was amazing! We had crumbed hoki , grilled barramundi, kiwi dog , chicken nuggets and chips. Everything was cooked really well and very tasty. I would have posted photos but we ate it to fast 😂
The staff were kind enough to give us an extra piece of fish for free!
The fish is decently sized and tastes very fresh. Batter is crispy and the chips are well seasoned too, no complaints at all.
Very well priced, highly recommend to anyone looking for some amazing fish and chips.
Amazing fish and chips with friendly staff and a great vibe. Very reasonable prices. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
Enjoyed our family dinner at this shop. Fish was fresh and well prepared. Duc, provided great customer service. This store will definitely be our favourite go to.
Duc was lovely to deal with and his cooking was just next level. Our family will definitely be visiting him and his shop again when we crave some fish and chips again 🙂
