Spent a week here in Geraldton. 1st time trying pink snapper. My God. Do yourself a favour and get down and try this food. 10/10. The chips are yummy. Mmm. Definitely recommend and I’d definitely come back here. Thank you x
We had fish and chips a dozen times in a month-long trip in Western Australia, and those we got from this little takeout shop were the best by far.
We walked up 25 minutes before opening time and peered in through the window. When the owner saw us, she opened the door and said she’d check to see if the oil was ready. It was, so she took our order right away. Now that’s service!
After our two orders of snapper and chips — and don’t forget the pineapple fritters! — were ready, we took them to a picnic table near the Big Marble/Horizon Ball. Here, we watched the sunset as we feasted on our generous portions of fish and as many of the mountain of chips as we could. And then, in the afterglow, we savored those divine fritters with the soundtrack of the waves reaching shore.
A perfect meal.
I had been waiting for the shop to reopen and it is worth it. Two huge servings of seafood basket for 4 people . The snappers and chips look appetising, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The owners are really friendly and polite. Careful packaging and thoughtful service. Highly recommended!
Love this place! Fish and chips are always fresh and spot on, and the shop’s nice and clean. The couple who run it are just lovely. Prices are fair, and the big basket is such a bargain for a family get-together. Can’t go wrong here!
Great fish and chips, generous serves and well cooked. Pink Snapper is a beautiful white solid flesh fish well prepared by a friendly couple who deserve success in their venture. Well worth your support! By the way, thanks guys for the little extra. The pineapple fritters were great.
Very friendly servers. Good chips. Crispy but soft in the middle. Its downhill from there though. The snapper was easily the worst fish I’ve had in a long time. Overcooked batter. The fish was so tough one fillet came completely out of the batter and I had to use my fingers to break the fillet into a mouth size piece. Not nice. Chips were good though.
Best Fish and chips in Geraldton by a country mile. Fresh fish battered in front of you, only criticism would be a bit too greasy, maybe a bit longer draining the oil out. Great service from what seems like great husband and wife team.
We are a family of 4 from Perth. The lovely lady gave us a customized meal out of the menu. It suited our small family (two adults and kids). She also gave us extra too ❤️. The taste was amazing! Keep up the good work.
