About
Joe’s Fish & Chips is a well-regarded fish and chip shop serving the Greenfields community and the broader Mandurah area, with a solid four-plus star reputation across a healthy number of reviews. The shop runs as a takeaway and delivery operation, open for both lunch and dinner, and is set up for families with a kids’ menu and a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance.
The burgers are what many regulars come back for specifically, earning consistent praise across the board. On the fish and chips front, the shop has plenty of fans who describe the fish as tender with generous fillets and the chips as hot and well-cooked. Feedback on the fish side is more mixed, with some diners reporting variable results, so it is worth noting that quality can differ from visit to visit. That said, staff are known for being accommodating when something isn’t quite right, which counts for a lot in a local fish and chip shop.
Prices sit at a fair point for the area. Card and mobile payments are accepted, and free parking is available on site.
Joe’s is a convenient option for families in Greenfields looking for a reliable weeknight takeaway or a delivered dinner. Phone ahead during busy dinner service to keep wait times short.

I have finally found a great fish and chip shop. This is as rare as a unicorn. The food was delicious- tender fish where the fillet was thicker than the batter (a rare event these days), the chips were hot and perfectly cooked. The single serve size was the most generous I’ve ever had. The pick up was hassle free with friendly staff. I can say this is the best snapper & chips I’ve had in years. The price was $18.50 and it was worth the money. I’ll be back.
So I brought $77 dollars worth of fish and chips last night for the fam I had Heard good things about Joe‘s fish and chips so thought I would give it a go when I got home and opened them it had look like the oil hadn’t been changed for weeks but I think the photos will say it all was not happy with the quality of food. The quantity was good. so I rang the store to let them no I was polite young girl on the phone said that she would get a manager to call me so we could sort something out I’m still waiting for the phone. Call 24 hours later
It was ok. It costs a bit more than other places and everything tastes the same, there wasn’t much taste in the seafood. I got mine delivered by menulog and they had more deliveries before mine so it took a while and was lukewarm. Next time I’ll go there myself than get delivered
I recently moved to the area so and had to start finding my go to Chinese, and best fish and chips etc…I tried Joe’s as it had good reviews. Well I didn’t need to try anywhere else and I even got my parents onto them. Both myself and my parents agree that it’s one of the best fish and chips we’ve had. Also, very well priced considering what you get for your money. Definitely has us a new regular customers. 😊
Nice local fisho. Food is always good, and if not, staff are very accommodating to remake. Service is fantastic. Prices reasonable, some shops might be a little cheaper but you compromise on the quality. Only thing I think could be improved is not charging additional for crumbed fish vs battered fish.
Despite the absolute chaos in kitchen the large team are very capable and respectful. I came in 40min until closing it was super busy and my order among many others were quickly made.
Very good quality burgers, fish and chips.
Best burgers in Mandurah by far; I always look forward to nights where my wife asks what I want for take-aways!
Wifey wasn’t so happy with her fish-n-chips tonight, however I’m happy with my experience, so my 5-star rating stands.
Great crew who work the till, phone and kitchen, haven’t had a bad experience yet.
Thanks Joe’s, keep up the great work 👍
Had a grilled fish burger, one of the best i have had. Fresh fish cooked perfect. Will be back.
