The candle wood fish and chip shop is a good little chippy, with good size potions of food at good price. My missies likes a good piece of fish and said it was tasty and fresh testing and fair size, she even went as fair as saying it was better than the Great British Chippy.
The only niggle i have was the Burger was a little cold but still tasted ok.
Definitely worth a second visit, and definitely recommend others to visit.
Had tried a couple of places but this was my top tier location.

+ I bought the food but could only start eating it after 45 minutes due to some personal problems, the food were still crispy with the batter and moist inside surprisingly.
*This place is usually fully packed on Friday with a long line up so beware of the waiting time due to my experience
Overall, a good place with valued food portions. Definitely coming back as a regular customer

Won’t be going here again. Extremely stingey and poor customer service. Ordered fish and chips with an extra $2 of chips. Opened to find what looked like a $2 portion. Called the store and was told that portion INCLUDED all chips. Expressed my disappointment and was met with no offer to remedy. 👎
Hidden gem fish and chip shop! Food was fantastic, the fish was not oily, great portion size and super tasty. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back. Great food and even better service.
Love this joint! Been so many times over the last year and never fails me, always consistent with flavour and quality! Lovely staff, always ready with in the time frame mentioned on the phone, fish is white and not greasy and chips are always on point. Shop is tidy too, and most reasonable prices around, im a big fan of fish and chips…I tried many places and these guys are coming out on top. Nice job guys!😚😚
I travel 19km to get fish and chips here 2-3 times a month, fish I get is fresh and delicious chips are crunchy, sea scallops and prawns taste great, staff are friendly ordering is easy and quick (can get busy) worth the drive as my local is no good, keep up the great food guys, see you soon.
This is a fantastic Fish and Chip Shop. The chips are perfect and so is everything else. Portion sizes are really good and so are the prices. Staff are always pleasant too. I highly recommend. Good job guys.
