Hard to beat their specials, a Tuesday special F&C for 8$ or so. Very nice, very competitive prices. Hake is the default, I tried the Barramundi and I like it better; I think it’s tastier than the hake. 10 dollars for the standard f&c or they have other options and it’s around 13 and 1 dollar more for chips. They don’t skimp on the chips either. A decent selection of drinks, a 5 dollar kids deal for 6 chicken nuggets, a box drink and chips. Plus they have kids toys in the shop! I played with the ring toss… And my kids too.
It’s an oil bath you can enjoy the economics of. (You can always stream some veggies if you’re put off…) ,😉

Great little shop, we have just moved to the area and were delighted to find this little gem. The food and service is outstanding. Very happy to this as our local fish and chip shop, highly recommend.
Great food and great service. We’ve been going for several years now as a family and have never had any complaints. The portions are always generous, the food tastes great, and the service is great too.
Staff are always kind and pleasant and make fantastic fish and chips.

Generally the food here is good. I’m not a huge fan of the way they batter the fish but they only charge $1 to grill and they do that well. It is definitely 10-15pc cheaper than the other F&C restaurants around here, so it’s good value. I think their standard cook-time for chips is too long for my taste, producing overly crunchy chips, so I always ask them to undercook the chips. Also, it’s take away only, with no place to eat on site.
Excellent food, not heavy and greasy like the others. Reasonably priced and cooked in sunflower oil. Tick tick tick
