A neighbour recommended to try this fish and chips and I’m so happy we did. Our order was ready in less than 10 minutes so perfect for pick up. We had a Tuesday special which is great value for money. The fish was the perfect balance of crispy batter and melting flesh…so yummy. Will definitely order again from them.
Ordered large 2 x hake & chips, 6 squid rings, 2x tartar sauce & 2x mushy peas and it came to $48. Absolutely amazing! Batter has a lovely texture and isn’t oily as it’s cooked in beef tallow. Staff are super friendly. Will definitely be returning! Mushy peas portion is big so recommend sharing but would order the rest the same.

I’ve been trying lots of different fish n chips shops. Only a couple have very good, crunchy fish, 1 of them has good crumbed pineapple (my favourite is battered), 1 place has really good chips but battered fish isn’t good. I have been trying to find a place that serves chips that taste the same + good, crunchy battered fish and pineapple fritter. Today i found my favourite! This fish n chips shop in Rivervale serves really good chips (the taste i love, crunchy outside and fluffy inside), super crunchy battered fish n pineapple fritter! I think the fish was tiny little bit overcooked but close to perfect.
Ordered battered snapper n chips, grilled snapper with lemon, salt n pepper and pineapple fritters. Paid around $65, fed 2 adults + 1 4.5yo + 2.5yo… with plenty of chips left…we put in freezer to reheat in airfryer to see if they’ll still taste good. Generous portion of fish n chips, totally fair for the price we pay.
Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. My new favourite 😍
As an Englishman, this is up there with the best fish and chips i’ve ever had. Mackerel, hake and prawns were cooked perfectly and we were given a generous portion of delicious chips. The beef dripping gives the chips and batter a much better flavour than oil fried fish and chips. I will definitely be returning and can’t see myself going anywhere else in Perth for fish and chips.

Not sure what has happened to this place. We used to love this fish and chips but now it’s been cooked burnt and so dry! Unpleasant mannerism from owners. I’d suggest go elsewhere for pleasant fish and chips
This place is certainly my go to from now on. Staffy friendly good is yummy and they make a point to know their locals. Definitely recommend to be anyone who wants good old fashioned fish n chips. Give them another star if I could
