Today’s order had a few issues to work on, so I’ve downgraded the rating to 4 overall.
Portions still generous, and fish was tasty. Unfortunately I asked for coleslaw as the salads and instead received one potato salad and one greek. (I ate neither) Items I’d asked to be battered were crumbed. Otherwise it was great.

My first order with Fish Isle and it was excellent! I ordered online and have resisted twice because there aren’t pictures or descriptions.
Portions were excellent, salad could be bigger (salads could always be bigger..). Calamari was enormous; fish was fresh and juicy; potato scallop was ideal. Chips were perfectly cooked.
Minimal packaging. Very happy.
Great location, clean and easy to park. The fish looks fresh and the taste was good.
I’ve two good experiences here at FISH ISLE since opening a couple of years ago.
The fish has been fresh, tasty with no complaints. Chips have been great also, using clean oil!
Parking isn’t a problem. Free street parking or onsite.

Food was great! My partner is from NZ and he hasn’t tasted good fish and chips since he left New Zealand, that was this amazing 👌🏽 highly recommend 10/10
Have been here a few times – lovely couple run the place and are quite the characters. The serves are generous and the seafood fresh. If you’re hungry, this is the place for a good feast.
Rude and poor service when I turned up to collect a phone order. Called and placed an order was told it would be ready in 25mins. Turned up to pay and collect and was told No you dont have an order.
And then, No.you never never called.
And then, I was told the person I spoke to isn’t working.
And then, I was told I only called to ask.
Maybe the guy working wasnt having a good day??
The actual call even ended with confirmation and see you in about 25mins and I said yes thank you and see you soon.
I can manage getting an alternative dinner, trying to tell a 4 year old.. totally different situation.
I like to support local and Will be going else where in future.
