About
Three Girls Fishing is a casual fish and chip shop in Graceville, Queensland, with a relaxed vibe that suits families, solo diners, and groups alike. Outdoor seating adds a laid-back feel, and with dine-in and takeaway both available, there’s flexibility for however you’d like to eat. Free parking and wheelchair accessibility make it easy for everyone to visit.
The menu leans into quality seafood with grilled barramundi as the signature dish, alongside cod, calamari, fish burgers, and chicken burgers. The homemade tartare sauce has drawn plenty of attention from regulars, and the salads, served with dressing on the side, are a step above what you’d expect from a neighbourhood fish and chip shop. Gluten-free diners are well looked after too, with fish and calamari available in a GF batter or crumb. A kids’ menu rounds things out for families.
BYO is welcome with no corkage fee, which makes a sit-down meal here genuinely good value, especially given the portion sizes. Some recent feedback has been mixed on chips and fried fish consistency, so it may be worth visiting during quieter periods if that matters to you. The shop holds a solid four-plus star reputation across its reviews, reflecting a loyal following in the Graceville area.

Yesterday my wife and I had lunch here for the first time. We have been customers of Three Girls Skipping since it started, so we were keen to try this new venture. We were not disappointed. We ordered whiting with salad and chips, plus a plate of calamari. The latter was cooked just right and we felt guilty not finishing it. However the whiting meals were very filling. Four fillets plus a generous serving of crisp chips and very fresh garen salad (three to choose from,) More than enough. A very satisfying lunch for $52. We will be back.
Yummy! Went on good Friday around 4pm before the rush and I wasn’t disappointed. Soba noodle salad was delicious, fish was pretty good for the price point, chips and calamari very nice. Great spot.
Excellent food. Glad I asked about Gluten Free because they do the fish and calamari in a GF batter / crumb which is absolutely fantastic. Plus the salads are excellent. Significantly better quality than all the local competitors.
First time dining at Three Sheilas Fishing and was far from a disappointment!
Gemma was very welcoming when we arrived.
We had the meal for two. Two large pieces of cod which was so nice! The “homemade tartare sauce was absolutely good!! The chips were also great, with no added salt. Which I really appreciated. Often people put way too much salt on the chips in other places. The Ginger Salad was super good also. We really enjoyed the calamari!
It was BYO, with no corkage at the moment.
We will definitely be back for sure!!
I’m giving 4 stars for the fish, was really good. But zero for the chips. $5.50 for about twenty very average chips as per photo. $38 for two portions of Fish and chips. I’d heard good things about this place but won’t be going back
Complete garbage. Fish was dry, chips were old, dry, and cold. The “slaw” is just half a cup of dry shredded white and red cabbage, with no dressing. That’s not slaw, it’s cabbage in the first stage of meal prep. Almost $60 for the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had.
Took over 20 mins to get 2 takeaway coffee When they were finally ready the barista just out them on the bench. Did not call them out. Did not look around or provide any acknowledgement coffee was ready. I had to assume they were ours based on how long we were waiting. Had I not been standing watching we would have waited even longer. This place does great cakes but this experience felt rude.
Great little place. Fish was excellent and service very good. Loved the atmosphere. Relaxed and friendly. Will definitely be back.
