A great location coupled with really good food. Large chip servings and reasonably priced. Fish was really good and quite fresh, with a clean batter. Batter was slightly loose from the fish, but not a major issue. Very fast service, with a few minute turn around. Not enough Tartare Sauce supplied. Overall good food, will be back.
This place was very nice. For food, I had the bacon and egg burger which was really tasty and none of the insides fell out (which I loved) and was relatively easy to eat unlike other burgers. The service was great, our food was quick to recieve considering it was lunch time in spring, and the atmostphere was good. It was a bit dirty, but that was mostly just the sand from the beach, the tables and chairs were clean, so no complaints!
Veggie Burger to Share
This was hands down the best veggie burger I’ve had in a long time. The tomato relish and pineapple really defined the flavour, and of course, it earns the title of a true burger thanks to the beetroot. After all, a burger isn’t a burger without beetroot!
We also had a delicious smoothie and a thick shake, both were excellent.
Friendly, attentive service set clear expectations for delivery time, and the food arrived exactly as promised. Everything was well priced and exceeded expectations on every level.

So pleasantly surprised and now looking forward to our next visit! The kids and I stopped here tonight as we couldn’t get into another fish shop. I was initially avoiding Delish fish as our past experiences have been very unpleasant relating to quality of the food and customer service. We had tried several times in the past and each time we had been left disappointed all round. Our last visit was December 2023. But this visit (5/12/25) has changed my view completely. The food was lovely and fresh and well priced compared to others – we recieved great serving sizes. And the customer service was polite and friendly! Even helping us with containers our icecream could travel safely in! We had zero complaints and needed to share this delightful change incase others had given up on the place too. Give it another go!
Talk about slow, long and over priced underwhelming food. Cheese burger was drowning in mustard, bacon and egg was as seen dry and not that good.
Waited 40 min for food and we watched so many people doing the same.
$72 dollars was better spent at Maccas, and I’m not a Maccas fan 🤦🏾♂️

Two stars because of the honesty of your front counter server who was kind enough to ask ‘i don’t think that’s fresh, do you still want it?’ when I asked for a small seafood salad. Other than that, an awful experience.
Here’s the ramble:
There was a $6-7 surcharge to order online with no justification, just a surcharge. We were there on a regular Wednesday. Not a public holiday. When asked about it, we were told they’d ‘ask the manager and let us know’. They didn’t. The family I was with didn’t receive their chips on pick up, and their fish didn’t taste fresh. To be fair, the shop did call try to call and let them know that their chips would be in the warmer if they wanted to come back. Inconvenient, but an honest mistake.
My snapper was dry. The calamari rubbery and inedible. Prawn cutlet was tiny. It just looked sizable because of all the batter. Please, please do better for your future customers. Especially at the price point you’re charging.
