Had an early dinner on a Friday night, staff were friendly, had a great table overlooking the river. We ordered the seafood platter, extra oysters and the scallops. The oysters were fresh and tasty, the scallops perfectly cooked and the prawns on the platter were very fresh – the only let down was the two pieces of fish on the platter they were both way over cooked, rubbery and inedible. We enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to come back for some more oysters and a glass of Prosecco by the river.

We had a super casual dinner here and really enjoyed it. The oysters were fresh and juicy, the beer-battered fish & chips were crisp and satisfying, and the barramundi was beautifully cooked. Everything tasted spot on — simple food done right. Service was warm and the waiters were easy to reach, which made the evening relaxed and pleasant. Nothing fancy here, just honest, well-prepared dishes that felt comforting and hearty. A lovely place for an easy, cozy dinner.

We were welcomed by lovely staff who were more than willing to assist throughout our time there. The staff were even kind to add a birthday candle as part of dessert.

This place is AMAZING! I had no clue where to eat so I asked ChatGPT. I checked out a few other spots first and landed at RQF. The food was incredible! Got the salmon & the watermelon beet salad. SO GOOD! The atmosphere with the river right in front of the restaurant is top notch, the staff were super friendly, Altana was my waitress and was so freaking nice! It’s my first day visiting Australia and she took the time to give me a ton of great recs on things to do and places to go. Absolutely keeping this spot on my top favorite list and will for sure be back!
The food was absolutely amazing! The staff were very professional and friendly. However, I did notice they didn’t ask when I’d like to enjoy my dessert. Usually, it’s common to have dessert after the main course, but they brought it out right in the middle of my meal. My dessert was ice cream, which was delicious, but in the hot weather, it started to melt quickly. Since I hadn’t finished my steak yet, I had to eat my dessert alongside it, which felt a bit strange. Despite that little hiccup, everything about the meal, including the dessert, was truly fantastic!
