About
Located on the south side of Brisbane, 14 Annerley Fish and Chips is a casual fish and chip shop in Woolloongabba that draws a steady crowd for its broad selection of seafood at reasonable prices. The menu covers plenty of ground, with multiple fish varieties on offer alongside potato scallops, calamari, and seafood baskets that regulars rate highly. The calamari in particular earns a mention, with many noting it holds up well against versions served elsewhere around the city.
The seafood basket for two is a popular choice for a sit-down dinner, and the potato scallops are frequently ordered as an add-on. Dagwood dogs also get a nod from those who enjoy the classic deep-fried fare. Fish is reported to be fresh and well cooked without being overdone, and the pricing is considered fair for the volume on offer.
Dine-in and takeaway are both available, and the shop also offers delivery for those who prefer to eat at home. There is outdoor seating, a kids’ menu, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible car park and entrance. Free parking is available nearby, and the shop accepts card and NFC mobile payments. It suits families, solo diners, and anyone after a solid, no-fuss meal.
Open for lunch and dinner, 14 Annerley Fish and Chips is a reliable option for fish and chips in the Woolloongabba area. Phone ahead during busy dinner periods to keep wait times down.

Looking at the reviews after purchase I can see I’m not the only one complaining about the chips. They’re white, means not cooked long enough, 15 yr old kid’s working at MacDonald’s even know that. I know it’s a fast food joint but doesn’t mean passion can’t be applied. Wife took a few bites out of her box for 1 and didn’t want anymore
One of the best Fish n Chip ever had! Many kinds of fishes for a very reasonable price. A must have!
I’m about to seem very dramatic but I promise this is how I feel. This place is the single best food spot in all of Brisbane. I went there earlier today, got a Dagwood dog and 4 potato scallops and they were cooked to perfection. I grew up in a country town and eating these reminded me of the best parts of my childhood. The view and the piano songs create an unmatched vibe. It’s affordable and delicious, what are you waiting for?!
A god choice for some basic food.
There have bene lots of varying reviews of this place so was initially skeptical. I ordered an ocean basket and some extra potatoe scallops – the fish was fresh and all items well coooked, without being soggy, or overcooked.
This would have to be one of the best fish and chip shops around. Partner and I were craving fish and chips for dinner, we ordered the seafood basket for 2. Everything was well cooked, especially the calamari (most places serve really skinny overcooked calamari) the friendly service was a bonus!!! A MUST TRY …. We will definitely be frequenting this place often…. 🤤😍👌
To put it simply: the best quality and value for money fish, chips and burgers you’ll find in south Brisbane. I’ve been eating at this store for the better part of a decade, love these guys to bits. Proper Aussie fisho.
So good. Grilled fish to perfection. A salad so fresh the lettuce crunchy and tomatoe firm and tasty. Chips cooked in fresh oil and staff happy and helpful. As a visitor in the city on stressful medical appointments my encounter at this place was a blessing.
A great little takeaway shop that serves good cooked seafood. I like the way they cook the calamari rings. They have a great service and look after you by giving you little freebies, like a free can of coke with your meals.
