Given 2 stars overall because the food is tasty.
However it is definitely needed to review the price and amount of food provided, coming from a takeaway shop.
Ordered a seafood platter for 1 with a handful of chips, tiny pieces of seafood, no dipping sauce, and tiny chunk of lemon. I definitely do not think this worth $25.
Disappointed and not recommended.
Truly the worst Calamari and Chips I’ve ever been served up. I could feel how light the box was when I picked it up, and yup, smallest serving ever. Looked pathetic when I opened the box. The Calamari was thin, absolutely wet, and zero flavour. Meagre serving of chips. $17 for the privilege. I can absolutely see why this place was not busy compared to the surrounding restaurants. The locals know to take your business elsewhere.
A great spot for family and friends to enjoy dinner! The food is delicious — we especially loved the barramundi and the halloumi salad. The prices were surprisingly reasonable. The place is clean and cozy, and the staff are very attentive and polite. Special thanks to our waitress Michelle for the lovely service, and a big thank-you to Charlie for the delicious food and for creating such a warm, truly Australian café. We’ll definitely be back!
Really like fish and chips there. The service was very nice and friendly. Thanks!
A super cozy cafe, and you can tell right away they cook with the freshest ingredients! The staff are warm, attentive, and never pushy, and the food is genuinely delicious. Clean tables, neat presentation, and pleasantly reasonable prices. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great dinner. Highly recommend!
A really pleasant, clean place with absolutely delicious food!
The staff is polite and welcoming (a special thank you for the warm attitude toward guests), and the dishes are truly beyond praise. Everything is made from the freshest ingredients – you can see all the fish right there on display.
Thank you, we’ll definitely be coming back.
We ordered 3 snapper and 1 cod all with chips. When the food arrived I was taken aback and blurted to the waitress “this is the smallest snapper I’ve ever seen”. I was really taken aback by how small the 25 dollar portion was even the plates were miniature. We all left the place hungry and i had to take the kids afterwards to the iga for food. I don’t expect having to leave a restaurant at 25 dollars a head for fish and chips to have to feed everyone a second time. If you don’t mind the price and the portion the food itself was lovely and we all tried not to let the size of the portion bother us while we were there. If the fish portion was double the size id be giving this place 4 or 5 out of 5
The tiniest serves we have ever seen! The piece of fish was like a scrap, and hardly a mouthful. Certainly not family serves. Even the salad had only one olive and a little piece of feta, certainly not a satisfying family meal in any way.
