Hands down the best fish and chips! We got the $15 snack pack. So fresh and the serving was very very generous!
Update: the burger menu is SO good! Gorilla burger hits the spot! Gunna try get through each burger type 😂🤤
Busy spot but for good reason! The price is great, service is relatively fast (considering they were busy) and you get a generous serving of food.
We got the family pack which would do for a young family of 4. We definitely couldn’t finish it between the two of us. The fish was excellent and we think we’ll just get. Abunch if different fish on our next visit.
No salads but I guess they do the fish so well that it doesn’t matter.
Venue is well kept and has some nice seating outside.
Was passing by and seen this strip of shops. Ordered some minimum chips.. mind you that’s only $5.. soooo much chips! Cooked & seasoned to perfection. Happy with it!
Grabbed lunch on our way to Mount Hotham, Huge portions, cheap prices and the chicken schnitzel burger was delicious!
Two gentlemen in shop extremely friendly and welcoming. Steak sandwich was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, best I’ve had in years.
And the potato scallops fresh hot and delicious as well.
Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I’ve been going to Thomas Street Fish & Chips for over 15 years now, throughout multiple owners the staff have always been friendly. The service is usually quick, and the food is always delicious at very reasonable prices and BIG portion sizes.
Still my go-to fish and chip shop after all these years, and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.
Moved to Benalla three months ago and have bought fish and chips, dimmies, burgers, and much more.
