When you feel like something different and can’t be bothered cooking for yourself. Ray knows best! Beautiful crispy chips and juicy burger made by my mate Sharee! 😁👌
Would you believe I paid $39 for 4 potato cakes, cornjack, flake, sav, 6 onion rings and $4 chips to receive this amount of chips. Ordered on Deliveroo. Gave them the benefit of the doubt to start with considering it’s pouring rain outside.
But you are never on time with deliveries. Always late! Chips were mainly crunchy bits. I don’t know what’s going on over there. But Ray’s you need to do better. Your store used to be fantastic. My family have been coming here since I was a kid.
Safe to say I won’t be returning for a while 🫠
Honestly this take away shop was rated highly by my missus. I decided to take her word and order some things like a souvlaki, dim sums etc… the lady on the phone was polite very friendly- the overall experience with the food was terrible.
Souvlaki meat was room temp-slightly cold. Not enough meat.
Chips & gravy was sloppy chips were extremely hard to eat.
Dim sims were nice – potato cakes were okay more on the greasy cheap supermarket style ones.
I honestly won’t be going back and I’m hoping my review helps you understand this takeaway shop is losing its morale and interest in providing good quality hot served fish & chips. Really really disappointed with the souvlaki..
We’ve been ordering from here for many years and have always been happy with the food. I must say most recently it has been absolutely on point. The best flake we’ve had from any fish and chips for a very long time. Chips/ potato cakes/ sav in batters – the whole lot was cooked to perfection. We are already long term customers but thought the recent improvements on what was already good fish and chips is worth noting 👌🏼
I ordered a 2 large pizza deal with garlic bread and a drink. A Bbq meat lover and a vegetarian, unfortunately I don’t think I will be ordering from here agian as the pizza were so incredibly doggie and saturated in oil to the point both pizzas stuck to the boxes there was like 80% cheese and like 20% toppings the slices were so heavy in oil. The garlic bread was extremely cold like hadn’t even been cooked. And I was also not told about the delivery fee.
Came from Bendigo for the night to catch the spirit went to rays. The food was delicious friendly service and value for money
We had the family size pizza. It was good with generous toppings.
Best burger with the lot I’ve had in ages. Reminded me of the old burgers back in the 80’s. Enjoyed it alot 😋🍔
