Probably the best place in Geelong for gluten free fish and chips. All items are cooked in their own oil and utensils. Extra cost for gluten free is $1 with some other menu options being an extra $2 or $3. Couples pack was $29 and then the additional gluten free prices added on top. The pack comes with 2 fish, 2 potato cakes, 2 dim sims, 2 drinks and chips. Gluten free dim sim was the best tasted. The only problem was that the main parts of the meal were very oily. Would definitely go again though.

The potato cakes weren’t good — you can tell they’re likely frozen and not freshly battered, as they had that frozen taste to them. The flake was very small and didn’t taste fresh, also seemed frozen rather than fresh.
The chips were the only thing I liked. If you prefer golden-brown chips, I’d recommend asking them to cook them a bit longer. The chicken salt was nice.
They really need to improve the potato cakes and use fresher, larger flakes. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because they sell Dr Pepper and the chips were decent.
Overall, everything else was pretty disappointing and I won’t be going back
I ordered a mix of gluten free and non gluten free food and while promoting that everything was cooked in a separate fryer we received all the food in the same packaging, cross contaminated so, the gluten free chips we ordered i was no longer able to any of the food as it was mixed with regular fried products. So although promoting how good they are at understanding cross contamination and they ended up making it impossible for me to consume. As well as ordering a gf souvlaki i then wasn’t sure if it was completely coeliac safe as of the prior issue, so i will not be going there again for gluten free food as it is unreliable and will not understand how they could clearly let this happen when it was discussed for it to be gluten free.
I ordered through Uber eats, honestly I am quite surprised upon its arrival to see it’s very poor quality food. Very soggy and lacking any crunch or salt, the flake is just all soggy and covered in skin and weird crunchy pieces. First and last time coming here. Probably the worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten in Geelong. I gave most of it to my dogs and requested a refund.
Edit: I see below someone in charge of commenting is also quite unprofessional in response to people. That is a shocking look, and further validates every complaint I have read so far. Bad food & customer service apparently.
Missing food items and not of good quality. No salt, slightly soggy. Not willing to try again. Lemon wedges were cut with zero care.
I had such a lovely time at this fish and chips shop. The staff were always in a great mood super friendly and welcoming so the vibe was just fantastic. My kids absolutely loved it too they were happy the whole time. And the food? Amazing! The gluten-free options were delicious, and those burgers just perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Yummy gf food prepared exactly as requested, with just the right amount of chips. The premises were fresh and clean, and the staff were welcoming. Excellent service and great value for money. I don’t usually give reviews, but we’ll definitely be back!
Really enjoyed the food here! The chips were hot and fresh, and the gluten-free dim sims and savs were delicious. The staff managed the busy time very well and still provided good service. Definitely recommend this place.❤️
