One of the favorite place to eat..I love the potato cake the most …only for $1.10 each it’s amazing….fish always fresh nd the cooking always best not very deep fry not light in cooking just fantastic….also the waiting time is only 5 to 10 minutes…but when it’s busy only 15 to 20 minutes no more….just fabulous
I suggest to everyone should visit here at least once…and you will love it.🤗🥰
Do not order the burger here! The owner is charging $9.50 for a fake rubber meat pattie. It is not real meat, it’s the processed, rubber frozen ones. I called up the owner and said why are you charging nearly 10 dollars for fake meat and she lied and said “no it’s good meat, very good quality , I’ve been using it for years” I was really offended how she was dishonest about the situation. She was very rude and aggressive and said come and get your money back, take it back I don’t care! she then said I’m the only customer who has complained about the burger and the other food.. which again is a lie because I’ve seen the reviews. When I drove BACK to get my refund she did not even apologise or talk to me, she just handed over the money to get me out of there infront of other customers.
The chips were luke warm/coldish and the burger bun on the bottom was rock hard because she rather take money transactions and orders whilst my bun sits on the grill for too long. Flake was ok, just the batter was dense.
But very disappointed that she takes advantage of customers by selling fake meat and charging the maximum amount for it. Than Denies it. Very deceitful.

No love, unfortunately your meat patty isn’t real meat. I’m not sure if you’re unaware but have you actually taken a bite? In your Asian culture I’m pretty sure you eat beautiful beef in your stir fries.. you would know the difference. But again you give your western customers trash because you think we don’t know any better. You select this rubber Pattie because it’s cheaper for you to purchase and more convenient (prep time, food wastage etc) but then charging 10 dollars for it? You are profiting extremely (the profit margin), that’s borderline robbery.
It wasn’t about the taste , well actually there was a taste issue too, very bland burger, no salt on any ingredients.
What a shame, I was really looking forward to a juicy beef burger and all I got was this fake rubber patty and a bland burger. Even my partner dropped your pattie on the floor for a joke to see if would bounce like a ball but it made a big hard thug noise on the floor. Lol. Wow
If anyone likes this burger it’s because they don’t know any better, but it’s really obvious that the patty was like a sausage Frankfurt with the red skin lol
Also I paid for a min limit of chips and all I got was 2 handfuls of chips, again nearly 4 bucks and not much chips. Even though some were warm and some were cold. Robbery again . You clearly struggle with time management to work the grill and the fryer at the sametime

I’ve been coming here for a while and I always get the most friendliest service.
I get my grilled fish and plain hamburger. I’m not sure why some other reviews complain about their burgers. It’s a great fish n chip shop burger. As a man who likes his food I’d say give their burgers a try. They can’t be that bad because every time I go in this shop there’s always burgers getting cooked on the grill.
That being said, I like their burgers and I say give them a try for yourself 😁
I’ve tried many other menu items from here and I’m yet to be disappointed.
This shop does get very busy so it must say something about how yummy their food is!!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
Decided to call in to this place because of the raging reviews and omg am i disappointed. We were told our order would be about 20minutes only for it to take around 40-45ish. When it’s busy, it’s best to be honest about how long it’s actually going to take or else it just becomes frustrating. Lady who I assume is the owner was working with an Indian girl and young boy, there was no communication about anything, as only one person was serving and taking the orders. They don’t use a name or numbering system so collecting your order is done of face value and young boy couldn’t even tell us if our order was ready. They also put the smallest amount of salt, enough for an ant.. we had to go back and ask for more. Shop fills up quickly, probably why it always seems so busy but the wait time is just ridiculous. Asked for well done chips too with one lady and then the cook didn’t even follow the instructions, disappointing.
Edit: got a bone in my flake and flake is just ‘hake’, very tough and chewy.
Edit 2: we went back in and complained and lady didn’t refund or accept that the quality of the food was awful. Kept saying that all the things in batter need to be that battered to keep the juices in (eg. scallop) and that all fish has bones in it and it’s the best in Victoria. Which is NOT true at all, I’ve worked in a fish and chip shop. Absolutely appalling and for almost $60 worth of food, it literally went in the bin. Terrible service.

I didn’t know that just fried hot and fresh fish n chips can be THIS soggy and tasteless. We ordered seafood basket. The batter was mushy and thick. I asked my husband which one he liked the most and he said salt. Never going back..
I always get the pack for 2 here and is definitely the best fish and chips in the area. Food was ready quick as well!
I love this fish and chips shop. Takes me back to how fish and chips used to be done, greasy and salty just what you want. I always come back to this place when I visit the area. Please stay like this
