I normally wouldn’t leave a review if bad. It is pretty rare. But on this occasion it was made worse because they realised the food looked terrible and the staff asked the boss looking older guy, he shook his head and flagged it through for me to eat anyway. The fish was much better but letting these come to me was just wasting my money.
Awesome experience food was good. Chips fresh oil nice flavour oh get a potato 🥔 scallop they are proper the way they are meant to be. Dimmys cooked to perfection.
The flake could of been a little bigger. Dining inside and out plenty of seating.

The WORST Fish and Chips ive ever eaten!!!!!
The potato cake tasted like a day old servo potato cake, i actually wondered if they run out and ran to the servo to get some, the flake was tasteless and bland, and the dim sims after eating one and thinking that tasted funny, noticing the other one was pink inside and i now feel quite sick!

Hmmmm, let’s see. Where should I begin? Rude owner, unclean bench tops, saw a staff member sneeze over the grill and the owner, an older, unkept looking man with an attitude problem, was rude to both myself and my daughter when she asked for a little sauce packet. Chips were soggy. Potato cakes were burnt and our dim sims were raw. The small amount of the meal we were able to eat sat like a lump in our stomach for hours and we were quite unwell the next morning. Would I come back here? Not in your life.
I’m a regular customer and this shop never disappoints. The customer service is amazing as soon as you walk in the door especially the owners who are very polite and lovely people. The food is always cooked to perfection and taste amazing. I’m glad the new owners didn’t change anything best fish and chips in leopold!!
Spot on , we stopped for fish n chips , food was Very fresh service Excellent, we had our two small dogs with us one of the shop keepers delivered our food to our front table Well Done , we will be back , A+ fish n chips
Wow!! what an amazing expereince I had here, got served by a young man named Ted. Very kind and caring customer service, might I say the best I’ve had! Chips had the perfect amount of salt, simply delectable. My dim sums, oh god, I have never had better. Come here if you are after the feast of a life time. Definetly coming back here with the fam and feasting like royals

Came in last week with the kids, yet again another phenomenal performance by Opsys and their employees. Was served not by the family favorite Ted, but Jamie this time. Outstanding execution! From the crisp on my fish, to the salt on my chips, to the pristine customer service, just absolute bliss. But by the looks of things this flawless work is all in a days work for Jamie. Opsys has truly done it again and remains a family favorite for me and the fam! Some may say they’re better than a 5 star Michigan restaurant, and you’ll be eating like dang royals down in leopold!
I have been going to oppsys for years and last night it was terrible. The flake had no fish in it. So thin . Like paper. The scallops were grey and tough as shoe leather. The paper it was wrapped in had oil soaking through it.
