Lovely owners with great manners.
My partner and I wanted fish and chips tonight but our regular on High Street was closed so we tried Cons Corner.
Staff were so polite on the phone and friendly in store. My partner is coeliac and they noted it and grilled her snapper perfectly. Everything was hot, fresh and yum. We will be treating Cons as our new regular!
Also, the potato cakes were huge. A welcome change from the small ones floating around at the moment.
Egg shell in my chicken schnitzel burger (with bacon and onions-note that i did not even have egg in my oder). Been here many times but this is insane
Absolutely fabulous old school fish and chip shop. Never disappoints. All the standard favourites with fantastic packs and meal deals too. Great food. Great prices. Great customer service. So happy to have this little gem just down the road 🐾

Best fish and chips ever. Lovely friendly staff but I drive an extra 5km past 2 other fish and chip shops to go here. Big succulent pieces of flake and crispy chips all at a great price. It’s the best value fish and chips in this area.
You can probably tell by now that I really like con’s corner, I go there every week, you should too.
I enjoyed a very nice hamburger. Look forward to going back again. Clean shop, appears to be newly renovated. Parking right outside. Hard to find a good burger at a reasonable price these days but you can get one here.
