Unfortunately this was very unsatisfactory as the chips were burnt, and the burgers had no flavour, the egg was burnt and the meat pattie was too. Won’t be back sorry.
serves the greatest fish and chip food in my opinion, crispy chips and has a variety of options. tried a fair few things since i go there often, which i all enjoyed. staff are very kind and good to just have a chat too! overall amazing the van should just add some more colour and decoration to become more noticeable!!

For the food, its so jaw-dropping and delicious! I would say that their fish (fried or baked) is WONDERFUL, the best fish I could ever have. The chips are crispy yet Crunchy and open at the best time after a good swim at Waves!

Just ordered some chips here for the first time to go with our dinner. The chips were great but the price for ratio is crazy! $10 for a medium chips, there was bigger all in there! The family size chips was like $18 and I’m glad I didn’t get that cos I doubt there would be much more in there. You’re a bit too pricy for us guys! But the chips were yummy
What a fantastic business opportunity this could be — I’ve been wanting to try it ever since the fish and chip truck opened, and I’m sure it could be a real asset to the area.
Unfortunately, alarm bells went off straight away when we noticed the only two tables were taken up by young people on their phones, not eating, just hanging around. The dining area was quite dirty, so even if we could have sat down, we wouldn’t have and went over to the park instead.
The ordering and serving process felt completely disorganised. It seemed as though the young staff were taking turns in the kitchen without clear direction. While the young dark-haired girl at the counter was genuinely polite and pleasant, there was very little professionalism overall.
The menu prices had apparently changed, but the printed menu hadn’t been updated. There were tins of old cooking fat visible, and after seeing staff lean over dirty tables and then handle food without washing their hands or wearing gloves, I started to feel uneasy.
On the positive side, the flake was actually very good and the chips were tasty too. However, there were plenty of burnt black bits in the batter, suggesting the oil needs to be strained or changed more regularly. The salad was completely inedible, and no cutlery, napkins, or lemon wedge were provided.
Sadly, I won’t be returning, as the hygiene standards were very poor — which is a real shame, because this place has great potential if managed properly.

I tried fish and chips from this van for a second time tonight just to make sure the first time was not a fluke! Well safe to say it wasn’t. From the friendly service , to the smiling staff and the best fish and chips in town you just can’t go wrong! So many food options. Batter was light and crispy and the chips were absolutely divine, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside!
Tried the seafood basket last time and it was just as impressive! Pricing is good and they take phone orders. Well done I hope you do well.

Also to the person that complained about the tables etc most of us go to order take away to take home, tables are there if you want to use them but there’s a beautiful park to sit in about 50 metres down the road.
