Size and price were ok, but the taste was awful, It was the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had 👎👎 definitely waste of money.
Shocked with owner reply under my review! I was there 10/12/2019, 6.30 pm, better serve good food instead of denying it!! Such a shame
We came here because we’ve been told the fish and chips are delicious. Well, we weren’t disappointed. It’s perfectly cooked and non greasy. Little advice, upgrade from Hake to Spanish mackerel meal. It’s worth it.
Give the kids a big shout out. They have done well on a busy Friday night. It’s not easy working in a fish and chip shop. The fish and scallops were raw, the chips were yummy though! Good efforts but with more experience your kids will get better.
Wing dings were raw on the inside and cold to even hold, fish had looked like it had been in a blender before adding the batter. Chips and nuggets were great though. Called the shop and besides a refund they didn’t seem to care when I mentioned that they need to use a thermometer to check the temp of food before giving them to customers, they shrugged it off
Served raw fish today. Ordered 2 x Red Spot Emperor battered fillets ($14 each), serve of chips ($4) and squid rings. The fish was raw and cold. Disappointed with our Good Friday meal. Rang and advised problem in hope to prevent anyone else getting raw fish.
Good portions but soggy fish(cod) batter, chips weren’t very hot.onion rings from a frozen packet and mushy. First and last time for this establishment 😞
Avoid this restaurant at all costs! I’ve had nothing but bad experiences! I’ve gone back a couple of times hoping the previous issue was just a once off however it gets worse every time! The food is terrible, portions are small and charge twice as much as everywhere else around them. There is no customer service what so ever.
I ordered through door dash and paid for my order in full only to arrive at the restaurant and be advised they have disabled their account and could not honour the order despite me showing my order approved and payment! They told me I had to pay them directly if I wanted my order. Door dash hage advised the the store has marked my order as complete so I cannot receive a refund! Safe to say I walked! Avoid at all costs!
