Wanted to eat fish & chips in the car during a winter storm with the family. No fish & chip shops were open despite advertising they were open in Nth Beach area. Ended up finding “Ocean Fresh Fish & Chips” in a neighbouring suburb. The lady was friendly. I ordered 3 Hake but was given 5 pieces and ample chips. Everything was cooked well. I have no complaints.

This fast food establishment can be very hit and miss. Some nights it is great, fresh, flavourful, and non greasey. Tonight was the opposite. The food tasted fishy, there was a large bone in the fish, it was oily, and the chips were bland. It is a shame they’re inconsistent each time we get it, as to whether it is nice or not. The phone also sounded like it was cutting in and out when trying to place the order. We won’t be rushing back any time soon, unfortunately for them.
Always fresh tasting and not greasy. Customer service is always very welcoming and helpful. The owner always greets us with a smile and knows my order. Definitely our favourite fish and chip shop.
Great fish and chips. One of those little family owned gems. So friendly and generous. When I opened my wonderful smelling parcel I was astounded to discover my snack size lunch order was huge. It was so fresh, crispy and delicious. Amazing value. Definitely going back. I would’ve taken photos if I’d thought of it but my snack was devoured by two adults who now neither can fit another bite in.
Hands down one of the best fish and chippy’s in Perth. My first stop whenever I come home to Perth. Fresh, delicious and the servings are generous. The curry sauce and mushy peas is tasty and give it the authentic British touch. Opening during lunch hours is also great.
One and done unfortunately. The worst chips and worst potato scallops I’ve ever had. The scallops were incredibly thin and had a bad taste to them, the chips were soggy had zero seasoning on them and tasted stale. I’m extremely disappointed but the fish saved this from being a 1 star review. The hake was tasty and good sized. Everything else was good too, friendly service as well.
Got a family meal, ordered when we left Mullaloo and ready once I got there. Was able to swap prawn things for dim Sims, no worries. Was a great sized meal 👌
Fantastic food, the barramundi and Spanish mackerel was very fresh, their crusts were crispy, the fries fluffy, and the oysters were tasty and a good size too! Overall would happily eat here again.
