About
Woodbridge Deli Fish & Chips sits in Cooloongup, Western Australia, operating as a combined fish and chip takeaway, cake shop, and cold cut store. That broader offering makes it a handy stop for more than just the usual feed, and the shop caters to both the lunch crowd and the dinner rush. Takeaway and delivery are both available, and free parking, including a wheelchair-accessible car park, means getting in and out is straightforward. Payment by card or mobile is accepted.
Experiences at this Cooloongup fish and chip shop vary noticeably. On a good visit, regulars have found the batter crispy and the fish cooked through properly, with chips that hit the mark. Some who’ve called in after a long day at work have been pleasantly surprised by fresh food and friendly staff. On the other hand, there are reports of inconsistency, with some visits producing soggy, oily chips and fish that didn’t quite deliver.
For anyone in the area after a quick and convenient meal, takeaway and delivery cover the bases well. Checking in at a quieter time of day may improve the experience. Phone ahead for larger orders.

Been going to this place for many years. We had ordered our meal, got there to be told, forgot some of the fish and then oh forgot some chips. I was patient and understanding as I know they are understaffed and said very clearly take your time as I requested well cooked chips. Got the food after a bit of a wait and when we got home, chips aren’t even cooked, fish and everything very soggy. Called them up to let them know and have a school aged kid say “you need to understand the lady working is doing 16 hour days as we have no staff”. We said we understood but we’re happy to wait and she knows our order as we are regulars there and have been for year. Kid just kept saying people need to be more lenient and understanding. Don’t think we will be returning again.
We got a family pack plus a few things from the shop, the fish and chips were the best we’ve ever had, they were delicious! The fish melted in our mouth, cooked to perfection. The batter was crispy and crunchy, and the chips were delicious too. We have definitely found our regular fish and chip place for sure 🙂 thank you for making our day 🙂
Fish and chips used to be a poor mans dinner and now you have to donate your kidney to be able to afford this. Bought a Large gravy and it was only 1/4 full! The fish sizes are very small compared to Swannies fish and chips. Definitely do not recommend this store. Wish i read the reviews first💩
Popped in this place when I was very late off work and was pleasantly surprised. The staff are very friendly, the food was freshly cooked and tasty.
Unfortunately elderly lady was very rushy and rude when i was making an order in store. The chips were stale and hard and I presume cooked in bad oil. The fish was very average. Very overpriced. Sorry I’ll try a different fish & chip store next time.
Chips were soggy and not very nice at had to put in the oven to cook them again asked for chicken salt was normal salt I wouldn’t go back there again. They can’t cook
I have officially given up on this place. Undercooked is the only word I can think of any more. 2nd time I have ordered and it’s been undercooked, I won’t be back for a 3rd time. I recommend you guys taste what you’re making on a daily basis.
Not much good to say. The food was bland tasted like old oil. Everything was really soggy and oily so much so the paper stuck to the kitchen bench and left a layer on the bench. All the food was undercooked like the oil wasn’t hot enough. Portions very small for what we usually get from other fish n chip shops. The service was great however unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this establishment.
