Our fish and prawns were freshly fried upon order! Crispy on the outside yet so tender, flaky (fish)/ juicy (prawns) on the inside! You could taste the freshness with every bite against the crunchy batter!
Plus, amazing hospitality!!!
Would definitely love to return on our next visit to Perth!
So delicious, cooked perfectly, service amazing and friendly. Very reasonably priced, delicious fresh Greek salad and pickled onions to top it off.
Highly recommend to grab an early dinner and go and sit down by the river to eat and enjoy
1st visit 1 Dec: Lamb ribs was flavorful, though a tard fatty. Fish and chips traditional was yummy, with the batter similar to those used for banana fritters in Singapore, light and crispy.
2nd visited again on 8 Dec: We tried the fish and chips (again) and the lemon and herbs chicken. While waiting for the chicken to be ready (abt 25 min), we were pleasantly surprised to receive the complimentary rice (big serving and yummy too).
My husband and I went to this fish and chips shop at 7pm tonight. We ordered the sweet lamb ribs, calamari rings, and a small chips.
We were very impressed with how clean the kitchen and floors were. The lamb ribs were very flavourful, and the calamari and chips were perfectly crispy.
The staff were nice and friendly, and the service was great. Highly recommended!
Went here twice during my trip to Perth. Portions are good and food is delicious. The fish and chips were cripsy and not too oily. They also sell chicken and BBQ ribs, both really juicy and tender. Ribs may be a little fatty for some but really good value for money. Would come here again when I visit.
One of the better fish n chips I’ve had in perth. Was a bit sceptical when I saw the batter but it was not too oily or greasy like you tend to get at most other places. Highly recommend!
My husband and I got two large take away crumbed fish and chips (we had the fish of the day, which was snapper) for dinner tonight and it was fresh and delicious! We will definitely be returning – thank you South Perth fish and chips
Got the Meal Deal last night – which was several large pieces of fish, two strips, two pinapple rings, two dimmies and two calamari rings, all with heaps of chips. The batter was excellent -not too thick – just nice and crispy. Not too oily either. Some of the best fish and chips we’ve had. More than enough for three people – plenty of leftovers. Will be back.
