Fish: soft and flaky, with a nice crisp batter. Light taste with no over powering oil flavour. Might be using a lighter oil. Very good hake fish done right.
Chips: on the soft side. Ordered online, but next time would request to fry it a bit longer in the comments. The potato used for the chips are more of the waxy type of potato. This means generally a smoother and moist center of the chip, but less crunch on the outside. Generally a starchy potato is used for fluffy inside, which was missing here. No chicken salt option online, not sure if this can be requested. Salt on the light side. Not my favourite chip. May also be affected by the current potato shortage, needing to change potato varieties.
Ordered online on tuckerfox. Went in to pickup and was greeted straight away, got my order, and out the door. Very easy and seamless, and staff seem friendly. Will try again to see if quality is consistent. A bit on the pricy side, but not outrageous.
Edit: ordered in person with chicken salt, and chips are perfect now!
Ordered a Half Family Pack (2 pieces fish, chips & 2 pineapple fritters) to pick up on a Friday night. The order was prepared quickly and ready on time. We ended up getting 3 pieces of fish, which were cooked to perfection: fresh, flaky, nicely battered and fried. The chips had a slightly different texture than what we we’re used to, and were missing the quintessential chicken salt flavour that I crave when having f&c. The pineapple fritters were also missing the cinnamon sugar coating that I’m normally used to, and my entire meal ended up having a somewhat similar flavour. The prices are a bit higher than what I’m used to but was still a great feed overall.

Went back last week, we ordered 2 pieces of fish and chips, they gave us an extra piece of fish again. Husband asked for extra chicken salt and everything was PERFECT. Chips were deliciously crispy and golden and fish was just as good as the first time we had it. Definitely our favourite chippy now!
Really tasty and fresh fish, with a light crispy batter that shatters when you bite it. Thick pieces of squid, the scallop came with the roe on and a juicy crab stick with super crunchy chips
Got this on uber eats and it travelled really well and was still really hot
Shared the seafood basket with an extra scallop between two and it was heaps

My favourite fish and chips shop by far. Their grilled fish is always so nice and cooked to perfection. The chips are the best. Always have left-overs to enjoy due to the nice servings. Cannot eat fish and chips elsewhere now as nothing beats this.
Excellent fish and chips. Online ordering process was very easy and our meals were ready for pickup at the advised time. Very, very generous portions, along with extras (additional pice of fish, an extra calamari ring). The shop is clean and neat, staff very friendly and efficient. Just a little hard to spot from the car driving past, but easy enough to find on Maps.
Website hours are wrong – it says open until 8:30 – but not accepting orders or calls from 8pm.
Food is hit and miss. Sometimes good. Sometimes not so good.
Online prices differ to shop prices.
We order through Uber Eats quite frequently…. the food is always delivered in a timely manner… its always fresh and tasty… we’ve swapped from battered fish to grilled fish and it is amazing. Chips always Golden and crispy….
