About

The hand cut chips are the shop’s signature, cooked fresh the traditional way and served in a good-sized portion that regulars consistently rave about. Flake, fish cakes, and potato cakes round out the classic offerings, and the hamburgers draw praise too, with several locals noting the generous size of the fish. Just purchased chips, flakes, potato cakes and dim sims.
Honestly no one looked forward to receiving refried chips with a the old feel and Crunch feel. We looked forward to enjoying the fish and Chips out at the park.
It’s been ages since I’ve last been here and it will be the last if this is the sort of stuff being served now. The fresh chip days are over I guess.
Hand cut chips! We bought $6 chips (good sized serving), flake, fish cake and potato cakes. Nicely cooked, tasted great. We’d heard good things about this shop, so travelled across town to give it a try. They didn’t disappoint. Really nice blokes running the store too.
One of the worst fish and chips meals I’ve had in a long time.
Dry and oily at the same time no flavour at all and the taste of oil stuck for the rest of the day.. the left overs went to the dog even she looked unimpressed.
Place has gone downhill since new owners took over. So disappointing because I did love their hand cut chips.
Let me start by saying this business is reasonably good , and priced well in today’s over priced takeaway segment ⁉️
There was little to complain about , except for the driver who backed into my vehicle while pulling out of the parking space ! Unfortunately that has left a bad taste , which will be hard to eradicate. So try it at your own risk 💯
Bought some fish and chips. The people was lovely and fish ordered was a real big size. And the hamburger was awesome 👌
Very pricey and the food was not upto standard at least. Too much batter on fish and crab sticks. Potato cakes and chips ok on standard levels despite lacking taste.
Food lacking in flavour and too oily. Food handling of cold battered fish not wearing food handling gloves.
I was a bit disappointed with the overall food qality, considering the great service.
Service was great.
I am so glad they changed ownership. Very, very friendly people. Gary remembers your name after just speaking with him one time. That level of customer service is hard to come by. Beautiful smile also 😁
Chips are amazing, hand cut like old school. Wish they were a little thicker though but still good. Potato cakes crunchy & just as yummy. Don’t bother going anywhere else. This is officially the BEST fish & chip shop in Craigieburn!!
