Went for the first time to check out their food and bought their calamari rings to try out. Guess I got only the rings(see pictures). I thought it could be just one then I checked each of the rings by cutting them open and found NO CALAMARI at all. Never been scammed so bad in my life. $7.50 for fried bread rings and fries. Don’t think I’ll go there again.
This Redfin fish and Chip shop is average.(Although I have not tried that many things from their menu(Would like to). The customer service is alright. The chips were nice. Like I said previously I would still like to try more of what they have on their menu. I think I have tried a burger meal once from this fish & Chip shop. This rating is mostly from todays purchase.
This was previously our favourite place for years! It has gone so downhill. Everything is covered in old oil and is completely soggy. The potato cakes came out of the bag DRIPPING in oil and so soggy you could fold it in half. Very disappointed and won’t be back.

Been coming here for over 16 years. This shops had gone several management but still serve the community well. Recent change of management sadly the quality of food and service has gone downhill. Ordered food and paid cash (no receipt), 30 minutes on still waiting for my food only to find out that it was not yet made. I was ignored, and staff just went on working. I said just cancel my order and return my money. The Chinese lady owner not even apologetic of their mistake and inconvenience it caused. I ask to give my money back but was so rude talking in Chinese. I had to impose several times to return my money before her daughter gave back what I paid. Will never come back to this shop.
Had their burger with the lot Como which was to greasy and sloppy same with the chips were too too greasy
Included with the the order was a sausage in batter and 2 potato cakes very disappointing !! Even my dog didn’t eat it!
Used to be a good fish shop until new owner taken over but going down hill now fast

By the time customers get there orders it is Darn warm the time you get it
And I think also when they cook the fish they don’t use flour prior to putting batter on the fish prior to cooking

We had the flake there yesterday, and it tasted so fresh. She just needed to let it drain a little longer. The potato cakes are yum too. Good size ones.
This place was a favourite of ours. Just ordered and so disgusted and disappointed with our food and service. Our fish was greasy no flavour and no lemon, dim sims not cooked properly. Soggy chips. Everything was terrible and oily. When I called to complain the owner did not want to know about it. We will never go back again
2 staff members completely oblivious to who is in the store. If I didn’t ask about my order they would have not done it and just be wasting time
