We’re always impressed when we order from these guys. The fish is always huge and the batter is always crunchy!
Photos are of our order tonight.. 2 potato cakes, 1 grilled and 1 fried flake. They always throw in some chips.
Just make sure you bring cash as they don’t do eftpos.
The worst and most EXPENSIVE fish and chips I’ve ever had. Absolute highway robbery of a $60 meal for 2 people and minimal order (elsewhere is half the price!) takes cash ONLY. So beware of that. Arrived and ignored at cash register too.
Huge potato cakes with no actual potato.
Everything else ordered including fish was barely edible. For the price we paid I would have expected a damn good meal. So disappointed that we chose here for our one takeout meal. Money gone. Food thrown out. Will never go back.
First time visiting. A friend recommended Dalton Fish and Chips, and they didn’t disappoint! Tonight we only ordered chips and potato cakes, and everything was plentiful, crispy and just enough chicken salt for the right amount of flavour! The ladies serving us were genuinely polite and welcoming. They only take cash, but this was not an issue with an ATM a few shops over. We will definitely be back.
Best fish and chip shop in the northern suburbs. I go there quite regularly and I buy their hamburgers. They are to die for. They are just so fresh old style real hamburger This shop is impeccably clean the couple that own it are the most loveliest people you could ever meet. The gentleman makes the best hamburger. It reminds me when I was a kid. potato cakes and chips are fresh. Oil is clean. I highly recommend this fish shop.
Unbeatable traditional fish and chips in the Northern suburbs.
Ari and Angela are the most amazing people that you will ever meet. Very welcoming and will treat you as part of the family. From the fish to the calamari and the crab sticks and dim sims. Everything was cooked amazingly. If you’re thinking of having something for lunch, pop in to the shop. You won’t be disappointed.
Brilliantly tasty well stocked souvlaki’s, beautifully fried potato cakes, chips and flakes. Grilled fish is also nice. Hamburgers old school style. Service is great and friendly and they only accept cash is also a bonus for supporting this business. Cash is King!

Its a real shame this chip shop has made changes to there ingredients and portion sizes. Still good but they were excellent but no more. There potatoe chips are those highly processed chips, not the good stuff they used to serve. There potatoe cakes are half the size, there flake also reduced in size. Its a real shame , they were the best 10 out of 10 NOW 7 out of 10. Making money alway wins in the end. I used to recommend them all the time, no more because they are as good only as the rest. They don’t stand out above the rest any more. I will still go there but not as much. Sad
You want good quality, fish and chips then look no further. One stop shop for all your fish and chip needs. A little pricey, but well worth it Can’t recommend highly enough 🥰
