BEST fish and chips ever!!

Grilled = Battered??
I’ve only started eating fish a few weeks ago after 20yrs vegetarian.
I ordered grilled fish and it did not cross my mind to ask it not to be battered.
I have a gluten intolerance.
I was told I need to ask for no batter if I want it grilled?? (After I picked it up, not before) What?? Is this what grilled means now? Maybe I missed this shift in 2 decades.
I should have asked for a fresh one but instead I peeled off the batter- my mistake- have woken with a very sore stomach.
Please inform customers that grilled fish means battered.

Every single time I go there order is exactly what I ask for🙏 food is always hot. Steak is tender. Hamburger mince is perfectly seasoned and the fish is always fresh.🐠

19/09/25 Ordered burger with the lot. The beef pattie was over cooked and burnt. Tasted horrible.
These guys are actually great but it’s a shame because they NEVER answer their phones for orders even when it displays they’re open.
