Finally tried “real” broasted chicken in Melbourne and it was incredible! Served hot, super crispy, and rich with flavor. Generous portions, affordable prices, and the fries with garlic sauce were perfect. The owners were so welcoming and sweet, definitely coming back!
I came to know about Crispy Station last week while scrolling through halal restaurants on uber eats. I was surprised to see a very strong 4.9 google rating and wanted to give it a try. Finally got a chance to try their crispy chicken today (takeaway). In all the honesty, hands down, they have the best crispy chicken. Crispy, juicy, tasty, not too spicy and it would remind you of the authentic crispy chicken broast. Even the breast piece was so well marinated and cooked that I could literally feel it, really tasty and juicy. I got half chicken, 2 wings / drumettes, fish burger, fries and garlic sauce, so that I could try most items. Wings were alright. Fish burger was 10/10. I haven’t eaten such delicious fish burger in ages. The bun, the fish, the presentation, the taste, everything was great. I can’t express my happiness after eating the fish burger. It was heaven, read that again, HEAVEN!!! Fries and garlic sauce were really nice too. Everything was amazing. You don’t get to choose the chicken pieces so for half chicken, you get a drumstick, a thigh piece, a wing and a breast piece. I am happy about the fact that I tried the best chicken and fish burger along with fries. I think the couple owns this business, the elderly lady has a graceful smile, who welcomes all the customers wholeheartedly, she has a good heart and is soft spoken. The man who made fresh chicken, wings and fries was her better half I believe. What a gentleman, champion I would say. Served with a big sweet and lovely smile. The graceful and lovely lady made the fish burger and she is a magician. They took about 20 minutes to prepare my order, which was all worth it. You can dine-in or takeaway. There is plenty of room to sit inside. This couple is amazing. They both are magicians. They have magic wand and they know exactly how to tickle the tastebuds. In Thomastown, this place is a heaven on earth, so tasty yet so economical. It rained in the evening and crispy chicken was definitely a treat to try. The place is small and simply decorated with indoor and outdoor seating. The people working there were absolutely amazing and the customer service was above standard. Highly recommend!
My regular fish & chips shop has been sold to another owner and unfortunately the standard has dropped. Then found in Google search Crispy Station with very high rating reviews. Must try the whole grilled barramundi as well as the fish and chips. The owners were also very friendly and hospitable. I highly recommend you give this shop a go.
One of the best fried chickens i had in a very long time. The name of the shop does not lie.
The chicken skin like the name of the shop was so crispy and just cracks when you take a bite.
When you expect crispy skin you expect dry meat…. WRONG!
The inside was still hot and juicy, when taking a bite the juices just oozes out.
Service is friendly and makes you feel welcomed.
Also, there is a cleaning section to clean your hands after enjoying the best fried chicken.
Will definitely come back for more.

Had an amazing experience here at crispy station we ordered their Broasted chicken which was tasty. And the Boneless BBQ Chicken was so crazzzy and was worth every penny. And the staff was also very welcoming.

Almost forgot to take pics before eating. Just bought this afternoon and the taste was really amazing. The crispiness, seasonings are perfect matched. Will come to this shop again 👍
The Fish I ordered on December 9, 2025, being battered Flake, grilled Blue Grenadier, plus Potato Cakes, was really nice. The batter could be a little more crispy. Maybe a beer type batter would improve the overall experience.
I compare my experience with Hunky Dory at Broadmeadows which has the batter experience I’d prefer.
However, overall, the fish itself was really nice.
The potato cakes would also benefit from an improved batter.
Overall, I do recommend Crispy Station, and I will visit again.
